Team Updates
Team Dunkley and Team Hengst

The hangar has been quite a busy place the past four months with multiple projects and varied team assignments. While Ian Hengst, Scott Lazaros, and Mike Dunkley continued to focus their efforts on completing the Moody 182 and the Honduran 206 restorations, Production Manager Tim Obarow adjusted assignments as necessary to maximize available manpower.

Scott Grote is supervising the engine overhauls and airframe inspection of the LAMP Cessna 337 with the assistance of Chuck Egbert and Paul Jones. Scott also oversaw the condition inspection of MMS’s Bakeng Deuce. The Commander 114 is being brought back to life by Dale Coates and Ian.

Andy Porter and Tim Fox are working to modify and repair the horizontal stabilizer for the Brazilian 206 project.

Josh Adelsberger is building an engine for Christian Missions in Many Lands aviation ministry in Zambia, Africa.

Regular maintenance and troubleshooting was also performed by several of the guys on Gospel Carrier International’s Cessna 172, Cessna 310, and Super King Air 200. Several regional aircraft were also inspected and maintained.


Under Mike’s supervision, Paul removes and inspects the alternator from the right engine of GCI”s Cessna 310.
